We came to Disability Credit Canada after an unsuccessful try at getting my childs DTC. We were frustrated and needed help.the paperwork was frustrating and trying to navigate the CRA was equally frustrating. The agents were amazing! They were supportive, helpful and upfront very informative about the process and the possible outcome. They were honest and gave us the help we needed to get everything in order. They called to give us updates and answered any questions we had regarding the paperwork and the process. They kept up with the entire process and I am grateful. In the past I have done a lot of my own government paper work for different sorts of funding or support and I have always found it very time consuming and frustrating to figure out the system, what paperwork goes where or who to talk to if there are questions, often if there is a question needing to wait on hold for hours to reach a person. When applying for the Disability Tax Credit I didn't want to spend the time applying only to find I had missed something or not filled out a certain form correctly to get the funding our family needed to support us. I was happy to hire DTCC to take over for me. It was so easy and worry free. I found disability tax credit a very helpful resource with regards to finding important information on my issues. It was very informative and very professional and all of the dealings with myself and the CRA. I have been dealing with health issues for well over a decade now and unfortunately my health related issues only get worse with age. I'm giving Disability Credit Canada a 5 star rating because, bottom line is they got me approved for the tax credit with my Type 1 diabetes. I'm certain I could not have done it on my own. I had been told about the tax credit but from everything I read and heard, it is near impossible for type 1 diabetes to get approved ( which is ridiculous considering I require life sustaining therapy and my whole life revolves around taking care of my diabetes...) They explain everything to you and help all along the way. YES, everything takes forever with the CRA, it does not happen over night. But you get your part done and then just have patience that they will take care of the rest ! They will reach out to update you now and then or respond to any emails with questions you may have. When they called to tell me I had been approved, I could tell they were genuinely happy for me. Yes, they make money too, from your retro refund, but the way I look at it is, 75% of something is better than 75% of nothing!

I went to them because my accountant kept telling me that I should be using the disability tax credit but when I looked at the process I heard nothing but nightmare stories.
