I am 60 years old, a retired Louisville KY school teacher. In 2006-2007, I went through Stage 4 cancer (twice). Since retiring, and not being able to afford continuation of my Kentucky Teacher retirement policy, I looked around for some life insurance. In part, this is to cover the student loans that I, and my 2 sons, have accrued. Some companies are not interested in trying to work a policy for ex-cancer patients, especially at my age. (I have doctor check-ups, and my health is fine-- I'm going back to work next month.) Ryan checked around, compared, answered my questions.
