Buying the insurance was very easy. Price was among the cheaper options, but the others were more manual in terms of sign up. Coverage, to my inexperienced eye, looks fine.

When Pinnacle Life launched back in 1998, buying life insurance was a real hassle. Appointments with brokers, awkward personal questions and heaps of paperwork, just to get a quote.
We wanted every Kiwi family to have the choice of getting the protection of life insurance. But if we wanted this to happen, we had to find a better way to do business. So, we invited Kiwis to deal with us directly, cutting out the cost and hassle of brokers and banks. Pretty radical stuff 20 years ago!
