They soundproofing window inserts arrived on time and in good condition. The installation process was simple enough for the average handyman. The inserts made an immediate difference in the amount of noise coming into our bedrooms.

I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome! I used the Damplifier pro on the entire cargo area of my 94 Bronco, and the difference was amazing! The road noise has been significantly reduced so that my wife and I can actually carry on a conversation at normal levels or listen to the radio without turning the volume way up. Although I ordered the B stock, I was hard pressed to find any flaws in the material at all. Installation was straightforward and I’m looking forward to working on the front section next. I have been using Second Skin for 15 years plus. When I installed car audio professionally, this was the only company I suggested for sound dampening to get the most out of their speakers and subwoofers, but also keep the car quieter and cooler.

Well now I have a project for myself that I been working on, and I used a 36.5 square feet bulk kit for my 1986 Chevy C30 that has a Turbo Diesel swap. I covered every square inch of my floor and rear back wall for my 18-hour drive to Salt Lake City. Let me tell you, this worked awesome just like I expected! My cab stayed cooler and had significantly less drone diesel drone on the highway and when at stoplights. Having done this has me pumped on covering more areas in this truck, especially the doors.

I'm going to pair high-end audio equipment with this setup and I'm really looking forward with how everything will sound with this great product!

I had a very custom project and was glad I ignored a comment I read that Second Skin would not facilitate custom work. They cut my pieces exactly as I asked for a very fair price! I had to do more detailed corner cuts myself, but my box cutter did just fine! I also could utilize all scraps on my fence seams.
I look forward to seeing how the charcoal blocks hold up in NW wet winters!

Second Skin has great products. Never had a single issue with any of the product lines. Owner frequents car audio groups and is active in discussions and provides great customer service.

I received my 2006 Audi A4 Avant from my installer Jason Carter this past weekend and I wanted to shoot you a quick email about my initial impressions of your products. I knew your company was the go-to for sound treatment on vehicles but I didn't know the end result would be THIS GOOD. Sure, I had a feeling it would be a noticeable difference but the reality is the difference is mind-blowing. Let me explain a little bit. But before I do, keep in mind I've only had the car back for 2 days.

During the ride back from the show this weekend Jason and I were driving at roughly 75 mph and then we got off the interstate. I reached down and turned down the radio a little bit. I literally turned it down one click. I turned it down from volume 12 to volume 11. That's how quiet the car is. At 75-80 mph you can have a conversation with the person next to you with your voice at a quieter volume than you do in your own living room.

The car is creepy quiet. I sat my neighbor in the passenger seat yesterday and about 5 seconds after we closed the doors he looked over at me at said "um, yeah, don't leave me alone in here with my thoughts." I said "what do you mean?" and he replied "it is so quiet in here...I've never heard anything like this."

The doors have such weight to them that you barely need to tap them to close them. Once they snip past the first catch they close themselves. I think Jason Carter said the door cards weigh around 19 lbs each. Not the door skin, but each door card. With the roof treated, door skins, door cards, floor, etc, (the entire car) it is easily the quietest vehicle I've ever sat in. I've sat in many competition vehicles. Some of them have won their class for the year. Very high-end audio cars but my Audi A4 Avant is a totally different experience because of your products.

A written review does an injustice to this product.

Installed in a Lexus IS250 for sound dampening and I can see, feel and hear the improvements with the dampening.

Used the Damplifier Pro on my 1966 Ford Mustang and absolutely love it. Great product, highly recommend and will be using it on our new 1969 C10 project.
