Ordering was easy. Arrived on time. Quailty product, although tough to cut with utility knife..... but that’s ok. I would much rather have a quality product, than ease of cutting. Installed this ib doors of my 2008 Honda Ridgeline w/ factory speakers. Was going to replace speakers at a later date.... but not sure that will be necessary now. Stereo sound much better now. Huge reduction in road noise. Very happy. Thanks!!!!

great choice of products to choose from. once i recieved my sound deadening i installed it in my trunk and made a noticable difference since my trunk rattles from my subwoofer.

Over the past ~6 years I've done three vehicles, a 2001 Chrysler Sebring Coupe, a 2008 Ford Ranger ext cab and a 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo. All vehicle cabins were covered with Damplifer once the existing OEM deadening was removed, the truck even had the headliner pulled to have damplifier applied to kill the tinny road/wind noise.

Once applied I have yet to have any issues with the material, Sebring even went to the dump before any issues occurred with the install. All that was used was the wood roller and a good hot Canadian summer day (~85 degrees for you imperial measurements)

Recently for the Veloster I had 120Ft shipped to Canada with no issues, boxes weren't even damaged despite the weight.

The hype is correct, this stuff is awesome. I acquired samples from a few popular manufacturers of their sound deadening products ranging from Second skins 40 mil Damplifier product to asphalt based 110 mill thick and 80 mill thick butyl. I applied these samples to 2.5" x 6" heavy gauge steel clips I got from a lumber yard and hung them from wire in my garage. After striking each one with a hammer to hear for myself which one was more effective I was blown away by how much more effective this thin butyl CLD product was. I thought the 40 mill thickness was going to be its weakness and I was wrong. It was by far the most effective one at reducing the vibrations and ping after my hammer struck each sample. I was a skeptic but now I'm a believer that Second Skins Damplifier is extremely effective at doing what they claim it does. If you're going to go through the trouble of spending your weekend taking your interior apart than don't skimp on the product and get the best one for your money. I will be installing this in my brand new CX5 for sure. I also want to say the quality of this product is excellent. The aluminum constraining layer was by far the thickest of them all and it actually feels like real aluminum (some were questionable). It's also light, which for me is important. BTW I only covered 40% of the surface area of the clip and I feel this is more than enough to do the job. Any more than 40% coverage is not necessary and won't give you much benefit in return. After installing Damplifier from the rear floor pan back to the rear hatch (40 sq ft) and all four doors I'm getting a 3 db decrease in sound from the baseline at 70 mph. It went from 74 db to 71 with the noisy stock 17" tires. Next, I'm going to do the firewall and floor pan under the front seats. I'm also going to try their MLV on the firewall.

Very good material all 3 of them. I have been using Dynamat's products before but from now on I'll use Second Skin. Much more priceworthy.
