I have had so much fun in india ! Everyone was so helpful and kind and respectful and the sights where amazing and beautiful. The highlight was the children they where spectacular and so kind and loving the staff are amazing and helpful definitely recommend this company for future projects.

Excellent itinerary led by very professional staff. Well organised, the staff were knowledgeable and we felt safe in their company at all times. The staff were fun to be with and were flexible to meet the needs of the whole group. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Delhi and will be back. Would recommend this organisation

Volunteering solutions are an absolutely fantastic company, who have looked after us from start to finish.we couldn't of asked for better guides who always had smiles on their faces.will be sad to go home .

I have been on a 7 day trip with volunteering solutions. I have had the best experience of my life. I have had the chance to visit the taj mahal, agara, the street markets and much more. The food has been incredible and it was very well structured and the staff have been wonderful.

The most amazing experience of my life taking part in the street children project in India. VS staff were brilliant from beginning to end. We were kept safe, saw some truly breathtaking sights and dined like kings. I would recommend this experience to anyone

This was truly a remarkable experience. The charity was so gracious and hospitable. As a teacher, now retired, elementary kids were never my forte. However, I was able to use every technique I knew to help the students learn English. I chose to stay two weeks but wish I could have stayed longer as I was just getting started. It was hard to leave as I felt I could have done more. Perhaps I shall return.

The only suggestion I have for Volunteer Solutions is to allow volunteers an option for accommodations. The hospice was clean but more modern accommodations were available at more than reasonable prices and food is cheap. Cambodia is very affordable.

I volunteered in the childcare program in Katmandu. The project is quite well organized but the information on the website do not completely match the actual program and I think it should be updated

Yhe accomodation was little and dirty, the guy who was supposed to clean entered without knocking every time, and the place was open allday. I saw some construction workers using our bathroom one day.
The bathroom was so unclean, we had one shower and one toilet for 8 girls, and even though there were other apartments with nowone in them the owner wouldn't let us change apartments and put us all in the same one.
The accomodation was very far away from the hospital, 40/50 min drive and every day we had to pay uber with our money to go there and back, because there was no public transportation or nothing even organized for us from the organization.
So I would say there are some things that have to be bettered to make this a livable situation.
I also know that I'm not the first one to complain, and believe me I won't be the last one.

Great organisation, super support in every situation, great programs

This experience was definitely one of the most significant and intense of my life. Living with a local family helped to understand the culture better and working at the hospital was a real learning opportunity. Go and enjoy!

The experience has bene amazing. The medical programm could be improved with more outcharity days rather than only shadowing the doctors at the hospital. The accomodation is ok but it would be fine to have some more comfort.

I recently completed the pre medical internship in Nepal. Volunteering solutions were quick to answer my questions prior to going which was great. Uma and her family were amazing hosts and the house and food were fantastic and as described in the pre departure information. They were always on hand to help with queries and were accommodating of any issues. The program itself was slightly different to what I was expecting as they did not need volunteers. I think if I had known it wasn’t ‘volunteering’ to help but more of an internship to learn, my expectations would have been met a bit better (I am a final year nursing student and expected to be more hands on). My first hospital was Sahid Memorial Hospital, the staff were helpful and I really appreciated the experience however it was a very quiet hospital/emergency department due to its private nature. Uma was very helpful in changing my hospital placement for my second week to a busier hospital so that I could see and experience more (Kanti Children’s), which I really appreciated. This was great but it was observation only, however I learnt a lot through observation despite the nursing team being very busy and having a language barrier. You are in control over how much you learn as the staff are very busy and don’t have time to explain or include you in what they are doing, so it is important to put yourself out there and ask questions as long as it is not holding up care. Overall I really enjoyed my experience in Nepal, thank you so much Uma and family for all your help and hospitality!

Going to Tanzania was a very immersing in life experience. It was very eye opening, the culture, traditions, food, music, religion and people. As a medical student, I was given so many opportunities in the hospital and the exposure was great there. I left Tanzania not only with new views in life or medical knowledge and experience, but with a better understanding of life and adorable people who are going to be friends for life.

Great experience, you get to know lots of new people, help a little a visit a whole new country.

Volunteering Solutions is a great organization to apart of especially when creating opportunities for students to pay in forward in the form of service. Miscommunication is what lacked in the experience. Especially at the very beginning. Other than that, working with Karibu Foundation through Volunteering Solutions was great! Their staff were very kind, resourceful and helpful during our time there. Our students felt very comfortable and created bonds/memories that they would never forget!

It was the best trip of my life! The house was very comfortable, I made friends from all over the wold and got to work with the best kids ever! Definitely planning on coming back! Thank you so much for the experience.
